Tools, tweakers and other things BIOS. Possibly the least understood part of a PC. Get the excellent book "The BIOS Companion" - "The book that doesn't come with your Motherboard" by Phil Croucher and make some sense of it!

NOTE:
Use these utilities at your own risk. If you corrupt your BIOS your PC will be unusable and you may have to purchase another BIOS chip, reflash your BIOS or send the chip away for reprogramming. Loosing the settings of the CMOS is less damaging, but again, use caution.

This program was designed to simplify BIOS setting management. Fortunately, the programs uses have expanded, to allow complete erasure of CMOS memory (and hence the BIOS password). More Info.

A utility program that allows you to change chipset specific registers (specific system configuration settings similar and sometimes identical to BIOS Setup Chipset Settings) that affect all kinds of system operation - from memory timings to cache size to PCI settings. More Info.

Change your BIOS settings with this utility. The user interface if TweakBIOS very much resembles the Award BIOS. More Info.

Phoenix BIOS Editor - download: BEDemo.zip (4,951 KB)
Windows application that provides an easy-to-use interface for modifying PhoenixBIOS 4.0 Rel. 6 and later without having to re-build the BIOS. More Info.
